Job Description: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Architect

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Architect to lead and execute the migration from Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) to Business Central. This role is critical in designing and implementing a robust, scalable, and efficient solution to meet our organization's operational and financial needs. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a successful transition.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Assessment:

* Analyze current Dynamics GP (Great Plains) setup, business processes, and data structures.
* Define the migration strategy, roadmap, and best practices for transitioning to Dynamics 365 Business Central.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to identify critical business requirements and ensure alignment with the new platform.

System Design and Architecture:

* Develop the architectural design for the Dynamics 365 Business Central environment, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
* Design data mapping and transformation strategies to ensure accurate migration of financial and operational data.
* Create integration plans with third-party systems and tools to maintain business continuity.

Implementation and Migration:

* Lead the migration process, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities.
* Configure Business Central modules to align with business requirements, including finance, inventory, and operations.
* Ensure seamless migration of workflows, reports, and customizations from GP to Business Central.

Testing and Validation:

* Oversee system testing, including unit, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
* Identify and resolve issues or discrepancies during the migration process.
* Validate data integrity and ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards.

Training and Support:

* Provide training and guidance to end-users and internal teams on Business Central functionalities and best practices.
* Develop comprehensive documentation, including user guides and technical specifications.
* Offer ongoing post-implementation support to ensure a smooth transition and address any system-related issues.

Qualifications:

* Proven experience as a Dynamics 365 Business Central Architect or similar role, with expertise in migrating from GP (Great Plains) to Business Central.
* In-depth knowledge of Dynamics GP and Business Central, including modules, configurations, and integrations.
* Strong understanding of financial and operational processes in ERP systems.
* Proficiency in data migration tools, techniques, and ETL processes.
* Experience with Power Platform, Azure, and other Microsoft ecosystem tools is a plus.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams through complex projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or related areas.
* Familiarity with third-party integration tools and APIs.
* Background in finance, accounting, or operations management is advantageous.Apply
