GPO Client Management Sr Analyst
**Job Description** Avendra is North America?s leading hospitality procurement services provider. The Director of Sales focuses on sales to large-sized hotel management companies and other prospects in all of Avendra?s targeted markets. Position Reports to Director of Business Development **Job Responsibilities** Primary Responsibilities ? Manage portfolio of assigned prospects to close business and meet individual revenue goals o Develop long-term relationships with key buyers in territory o Deploy proactive selling strategies to sign up new accounts o Perform account research activity to develop qualified leads o Make sales calls on key C-level decision makers o Develop and deliver compelling presentations to influence C-level buyers to join Avendra o Complete assignments and all paperwork in a timely manner ? Work with the Discovery team to coordinate a ?Discovery? engagement on selected accounts Secondary Responsibilities ? Work with Implementation and Account Management teams to seamlessly transition accounts once signed ? Maintain current information in Sales Force Automation system Primary Competencies ? This is largely a sedentary role with some light lifting of files possibly needed. Role Requirements ? Prior direct sales experience ? Must demonstrate abilities in the area of ?solution selling? with strong negotiation skills ? Experienced in complex sales with multiple buying influences ? Must have excellent organizational skills as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously ? Knowledge of supply chain management ? Experience selling services ? Knowledge of lodging industry and hotel management companies preferred Overnight Travel Requirements. Type: All modes of transportation, percentage 50-75%, length: 3-5 nights Years of Relevant Experience. 10 or more years of experience Education Requirements. BS/BA in relevant field or equivalent years' experience.
