Key Responsibilities and Tasks

Background Screening Process Management

Coordinate and manage end-to-end background screening processes, including education verification, employment history, criminal checks, and other required screenings.Work with third-party vendors to ensure timely and accurate completion of background checks.


Compliance and Documentation

Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and international employment laws related to background screening.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of screening results, actions taken, and resolutions.Perform CV Analysis to ensure accuracy of information provided in HireRight and CV uploaded in Workday.Ensure Background Check documents are uploaded in Workday.Identify and report potential risks or issues that could impact the organization.


Communication and Stakeholder Engagement

Serve as the main contact for candidates and employees throughout the background check process.Work closely with hiring managers, recruiters, and HR teams to address inquiries and escalate issues as necessary.Reach out to candidates to resolve discrepancies and obtain any additional documentation required.Seek approval from stakeholders or designated approvers when background screenings are incomplete before the start date.


Issue Resolution

Analyze background screening discrepancies and follow appropriate protocols to address and resolve issues.Ensure that all case resolutions comply with company policies, legal requirements, and regulatory standards.


Reporting and Process Improvement

Generate and analyze reports on background screening metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and accuracy in the screening process.


Case Management

Receive, log, and track Background Screening related cases and inquiries through myHR ensuring timely resolution according to service level agreements (SLAs).


Invoicing

oversees invoicing processes for third-party vendors, ensuring accuracy and timely payment, and maintains strong relationships with external partners.

Customer Service

Deliver a high level of customer service, ensuring that employees/candidates feel supported and valued.Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.



***In the event of business need, HR BG Analysts will be asked to handle or assist with other task and responsibilities usually managed by the other GPS team.

Qualification/Requirements

Bachelor’s degree holder in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related course is required1-3 years of experience in background screening, HR, compliance, or a related field.Familiarity with background check tools and systems is an advantage.Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong ethical judgment and integrity.Adaptability to changing regulations and internal policies.Analytical and problem-solving capabilities to resolve discrepancies effectively.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and assist in various HR-related tasks.Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
