GPS Safety Coordinator- Q3C, Gas operations (Part-time)

We are seeking a Part Time GPS Safety Coordinator for our Little Cananda, MN location.  

***This is a Hybrid remote opportunity requiring to work onsite 3 days a week.***

Position Overview:

This is a remote part-time, non-benefit position to the Samsara GPS HSE Coordinator team. The primary purpose of this role is to address the lack of integration between Samsara and Power BI, which requires us to manually update attributes in Power BI to ensure the dashboard is current. The person in this position will be responsible for updating the attributes for the Utility group and will also assist with the daily triage of Samsara hash events.

Summary:

Analyze incoming data and video from telematics provider on PSC assets and take appropriate actions.  Stay current on incoming video alert queue ensuring no lag in assignment or dismissal of events.  Major types of alerts that require action include but are not limited to distracted driving, mobile usage, no seat belt, following too closely and rolling stops.  Follow up on coaching events that are outside of established timelines.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Review AI-generated camera events for accuracy. Dismiss false alerts based on general guidance and assign accurate alerts for coaching in PSC’s telematics system. Using organizational structure guidance, assign coaches for events that require follow up. Notify local Fleet management of hardware issues such as cameras not reporting or obstructions. Update telematics platform to ensure accurate drivers and locations are identified. Attend all GPS/telematics required meetings. Communicate updates or changes to Business Unit Leaders. Establish and distribute weekly reporting.

 

Requirements and Qualifications:

General knowledge of fleet and equipment operations is desired. Experienced in Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word. Ability to follow general guidance on camera events that require action or dismiss incorrectly AI-generated alerts. Ability to communicate effectively and react to changing conditions of program administration. Proven ability to multi-task and maintain focus on overall objectives. Ability to work with confidential information. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
