GPU Integration and Debug Engineer

General Summary:

We are looking for a talented and self-motivated Digital Engineer to join Qualcomm’s Adreno GPUs Command Processor team and participate in cutting-edge graphics technology development. As a member of our team, you will be working closely with a world-class assembly of architects, designers, software and design verification engineers, and getting involved in all phases of GPU design cycle, ranging from product requirements to customer delivery.

You will – •

Be involved with the Integration and debug of all aspects of the GPU hardware, the Command Processor firmware and the software drivers. Over time you will learn how the full system works. •Participate in firmware development, maintenance and debugging •Analyze snapshot data along with the GPU RTL to determine the state of the device at times of faults •Devise and implement experiments to help isolate the cause of crash scenarios

Candidates must have strong communication and teamwork skills and approach difficult challenges as exciting learning opportunities.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in: •

Graphics processing and/or Embedded software development •Ability to read, interpret and analyze RTL (Verilog, System Verilog, or VHDL) • Assembly Language programming, C language programming •Scripting languages •Emulation environments for development and debug •Post-silicon enablement and bring-up •At least 5 years of relevant industry experience We are looking for a smart, motivated, energetic engineer.

Minimum Qualifications:

•    Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:

$151,000.00 - $227,000.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.
