4 Year Degree LAWRENCE TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY WOMEN’S SOCCER has an opening for a Graduate Assistant, beginning August 2025. This position will report to the Head Women’s Soccer Coach, and will assist with the daily operations, and administration of all phases of the Lawrence Tech women’s soccer program, in accordance with NAIA rules and philosophies.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist full-time staff with all aspects off the women’s soccer program, including but not limited to: - Planning team travel and team meals. - Assist with game day warm up activities. - Assist with social media accounts. - Taking game day stats. - Plan and coordinate campus visits by prospective student-athletes. - Gather quotes from vendors as needed. - Identify, evaluate, and recruit prospective student-athletes. - Assist in post-season training, practices and games. - Assist in all areas relating to the operation of the soccer program, including day-to-day administrative and operational responsibilities. - Assist with the development and maintenance of appropriate public relations, fund-raising and promotional activities as necessary. - Participate in the continued development, promotion, and implementation of summer/ID camps. - Assist in coordination of practice and game preparation. - Motivate and inspires student-athletes to excel in the classroom and on the field. - Attend functions related to the soccer program; prepares reports; evaluates players. - Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: Undergraduate degree required with experience in collegiate, club and/or high school soccer program(s). A self-motivated solid work ethic, as well as a strong sense of teamwork, are essential. Strong written and communication skills, excellent computer and organizational skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to professionally represent Lawrence Tech by demonstrating pride and loyalty are essential to the position. Must be able to demonstrate sports specific activities, travel with the team to away games, and work weekends and nights when necessary. Ability to work with various coaches and administrative staff alongside coaching and mentoring student workers, and support the mission and values as well as University goals for institutional diversity.

GRADUATE ASSISTANT COMPENSATION PACKAGES (ON-CAMPUS/OFF-CAMPUS) Graduate Assistants (GA’s), within the Athletic Department at Lawrence Technological University, are offered a comprehensive support package designed to assist with academic and living expenses, while providing valuable professional experience. Each GA can pick between an on-campus or off-campus package. PACKAGE # 1 - ON CAMPUS HOUSING: Tuition Assistance:

o Coverage of 50% of tuition costs for graduate studies o GA’s must maintain full-time status (minimum of six credits per semester)

Housing:

o On-campus housing costs are fully covered o GA is required to pay a $250 housing fee

Meal Plan:

o A meal plan is included, ensuring access to on-campus dining facilities during the academic year

Stipend:

o Hourly wage of $10-12 per hour, based on role and responsibilities o Maximum of 20 hours per week, with bi-weekly payment

Duration:

o The compensation package is applicable for the fall and spring terms. o Summer employment may be considered with approval from the administration

PACKAGE # 2 - OFF CAMPUS HOUSING: Tuition Assistance:

o Coverage of 100% of tuition costs for graduate studies o GA’s must maintain full-time student status (six credits per semester)

Housing:

o No on-campus housing

Meal Plan:

o No meal plans

Stipend:

o Hourly wage of $10-12 per hour, based on role and responsibilities o Maximum of 20 hours per week, with bi-weekly payment

Duration:

o The compensation package is applicable for the fall and spring terms. o Summer employment may be considered with approval from the administration
