Overview

FleishmanHillard’s Boston team is seeking a qualified candidate to join us for an internship as a Graduate Development Professional (GDP). This is an opportunity to work across sectors (from tech to healthcare) and practices and with some of the best professionals in the communications industry.  
 
We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn and committed to doing great work. The FleishmanHillard experience provides the opportunity to grow professionally by working on integrated communications programs across several client accounts and through hands-on experience that includes supporting materials development, identifying media/influencer targets and program coordination. GDPs will use industry-leading tools and technology to deliver data-driven work.

Responsibilities 

Conduct research, media monitoring, and trend analysis. Support social content creation, media pitching, and event coordination. Develop your skills through real-world communication projects.

Qualifications 

Ability to join us in a hybrid model of working in-person in our Boston office Tuesday and Thursday. Available to work Monday-Friday full time (40 hours a week during standard working hours: 9-5). A strong career interest in communications. A background or strong interest in working with clients in the technology and healthcare spaces. Ideal candidates will have graduated and completed college coursework in journalism, public relations, communications or related fields. Excellent written and oral communications skills, an innate curiosity, and desire to learn in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.  This candidate should value teamwork, collaboration and demonstrate a “can do!” attitude.  The is a paid position requiring a commitment of at least 6 months.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $17.20 - $22.00 an hour. 

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications and geography.
