Job Summary:
As a Graduate Field Service Engineer at Honeywell, you will be responsible for visiting our customers to support with application, upgrades, diagnosis and modifications.
This is a remote from office role, working predominantly from customer sites in and around Cork, and from home.
This role is part of our University Relations program, designed to help students and recent graduates launch their careers with hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for growth within Honeywell.

Key responsibilities

· Responsible for the delivery of support of automation projects and services to customers respecting global standards and processes. This involves understanding customer needs and resolve issues through technical knowledge.
· Represents Honeywell in all customer interactions in a manner that is consistent with Honeywell values.
· Safety: meet the Corporate, customer and legal obligations of Health, Safety and Environment (trainings, use of PPEs and safety observations)
· System upgrades and modifications (Installation/configuration/implementation & commissioning) of Honeywell’s product range including application support, diagnosis and escalation for rectification of issues in application software, Industrial control & safety systems, 3rd party Distributed Control Systems or SCADA products to meet customer specifications. Performs systems modification and upgrades (of different level of complexity according to job qualification)
· Out-of-country travel may be required to meet ad hoc needs
Key skills and qualifications
· A 2024 or 2025 graduate with a degree in an area of Technology - Electronics, Automation, Control/Instrumentation, Cyber, or Computer Science
· A full Manual Driving License for use in Ireland and a facility to work from home is required, (we will supply the tech and a car)
· Business level English, both written and verbal
· Has no travel restrictions within working hours
