The Wellbeing & Belonging Intern is a key member of the S:US HR team and is responsible for assisting the Wellness and Diversity Manager in comprehensive support of wellness initiatives across the company.  The Intern will support and drive wellness in all activities and events across the company. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.  This position helps our organization's efforts in fostering a healthy and inclusive workplace and community.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist in organizing/scheduling onsite events with vendor(s), location(s), staff, ordering supplies/materialsAssist in organizing/scheduling webinarsSend out all staff e-mails, organizational announcements and calendar invitesCreate flyers/posters/announcements on Canva and other platformsCreate and distribute monthly newslettersAssist in administrative tasks to maintain current wellness program’s successAssist in the development and implementation of wellness initiates and events virtually and across our locationsCreate marketing and announcement materials and assist in developing strategies to drive engagementManage regular wellness communication efforts through various platformsCollaborate with various teams to integrate wellness into every stage of employee lifecycleAct as a liaison with external organizations and to enhance partnerships and help foster wellbeing in the lives of our employeesStay informed about industry best practices, trends, and legal requirements related to wellbeing and inclusivity and incorporating them into our company’s policies and practices.

 

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Experience with wellness programs, especially with employee resource groups, affinity groups or networks, in the non-profit sector. Strong understanding of wellness concepts, best practices, and current trendsSensitivity to cultural differences and a commitment to promoting equity and fairnessThis position requires hybrid on-site presence

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Experience in communication, marketing, scheduling, coordinating events and handling tasks in timely mannerCollaborative and strategic thinker with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
