Located in Hampden Township, UPMC West Shore is a 150-bed hospital located on a large campus, providing patients with access to specialty services including the latest in cancer care, orthopedic surgery, women’s health, and heart and vascular services. Built in 2014, the hospital recently underwent a comprehensive expansion project, which increased the emergency department, enhanced surgical services, and added private inpatient rooms. In 2021, UPMC West Shore became the first hospital in central Pennsylvania to offer minimally invasive robotic technology to help diagnose and treat lung cancer in its earliest stages. Shifts/Hours: Our RNs work a rotating 12-hour schedule to ensure 24/7 coverage on the floor.
Graduate Nurses must be eligible for State Board Licensure and successfully pass the examination before beginning this role OR ability to start with TPP and must obtain license within 6 months of beginning position. Applicants will be placed in the appropriate job title and salary from the My Nursing Career Ladder based on their individual experience and education.
