Reporting to the Director of Admissions for the Innovation Campus, the Graduate Recruiter - PGP, will assist in the execution of recruitment activities, evaluate admission applications, and perform other duties as needed, with a focus on the Master of Engineering (MENG) in Computer Engineering (CPE) and Computer Science & Applications (CSA) program. This role will entail independent decision making in admissions and close collaboration with various university units, including marketing and communications, the Graduate School, academic departments, and the Division of Enrollment Management to implement cutting-edge recruitment and admissions practices and strategies.

The Graduate Recruiter - PGP will lead recruitment efforts including but not limited to the following: promotion of accelerated MEng within Virginia Tech and partner institutions, implementation of the "Direct to Tech” early admission program, promotion at national and regional conferences, digital recruitment through social media and email campaigns, promotion of programs through engagement with alumni and community groups, and cultivation of collaborations with Virginia K-12 schools and community colleges in the promotion and pipeline building for graduate programs.

The Graduate Recruiter - PGP will develop and implement systems for analyses of outcomes across graduate programs for the tracking of applicants from the beginning of the recruitment funnel through enrollment. Additionally, the Graduate Recruiter - PGP will support the strategy and operations related to graduate recruitment for the professionally oriented graduate degree programs.

This position may be eligible for hybrid or remote work.

This position is based out of Blacksburg, VA.

The person hired in this position will have flexibility in work location with commutable distance to Virginia Tech campuses (including Northern Virginia) and partner institutions.
