Scope of Job
The Graduate Research Assistant ( GRA ) will work as a team member of the Center for Teaching Excellence and work closely with the center director and staff.
Discipline Specific Required Qualifications
The GRA will:
+ Assist in collecting and analyzing data for program evaluation
+ Conduct interviews with faculty and students
+ Running statistical analyses
+ Organizing data into Excel and SPSS
+ Collecting data through interviews and/or surveys
+ Assist with grant applications and research projects
+ Attend team meetings
+ Do other duties as assigned and within job scope
Preferred Qualifications
Desired & Preferred Qualifications and Skills
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must work well with diverse groups of people and have excellent communication skills
• Must be able to work independently with little supervision
• Research experience preferred
