This population of patients includes acute stroke, traumatic brain injury, seizures, epilepsy monitoring and other acute neurological diseases. As a certified comprehensive stroke center, we work closely with the vascular neurology team, and our nurses are experts in acute stroke care. In addition, this unit sees a wide variety of acutely ill medical patients. The 6 West unit features 27 beds with continuous cardiac monitoring capability. New Graduates are Welcome to Apply! **Job Description:** Education · Graduate of a state approved and/or accredited School of Nursing. · Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred Licensure, Certification, Registration · Current license to practice professional nursing from the Massachusetts Board of Registration; graduating nursing students must provide NCLEX registration documentation when eligible. · American Heart Association - Basic Life Support Certificate Experience · 0-1 years related work experience required. · Basic familiarity with computers. Ability to navigate at a basic level within web-based applications.
