In this role, you'll support current and prospective graduate students, helping them navigate their academic journey from application to graduation. Key responsibilities include: + Counsel and advise prospective students on the application process for graduate programs. + Coordinate the graduate selection process in collaboration with the Graduate Selection Committee Chair. + Assist incoming graduate students with their transition and orientation to the Department. + Provide guidance to graduate students on navigating degree and program requirements, as well as graduate student life. + Lead and support graduate student recruiting efforts. + Organize and coordinate in-person and virtual Open Houses for prospective students. + Represent the Chemistry Department at various recruitment events throughout the year. + Maintain internal databases and conduct annual reviews of current students. + Manage assistantships on Workday, including editing Period Activity Pay and entering waivers and department graduate scholarships.
