Title –Graduate Student Trainee *** (this role, job profile, and compensation rate, is governed by an agreement with Xavier University) *** **Reports to:** **_Clinical Psychologist_** **Primary Function/General Purpose of Position** _- (2-3 sentences):_ The graduate student will be working as clinical psychology/behavioral health trainee under the supervision of a licensed psychologist who is an employee of Mercy Physicians. Behavioral health patient services and training activities will include individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, psychological assessment, clinical supervision, documentation, and staff meetings. The graduate student trainee’s schedule will be negotiated between the trainee and supervisor. _EXAMPLE:_ _This role delivers patient care utilizing the nursing process through data collection and assessment, identifies and determines the priority of patient’s problems/needs, and evaluates the process and outcome of nursing care. They coordinate, provide, and direct patient teaching activities and coordinate the care provided by health team members._ **As part of the BSMH integrated Behavioral Health (BH) program this role works under the supervision of psychologists for a 12-month practicum for students actively in a Ph.D. or Psy.D. program. Provides services and performs duties related to their respective disciplines and academic programs under the license of the supervising psychologist.** **Essential Job Functions** - _(7-10 statements):_ _​List the essential functions for the job.
