Pennoni Associates is current seeking a Graduate Traffic Engineer with experience is consistent with, but not limited to:

Traffic Engineer needed to join a dynamic team responsible for the delivery of traffic safety improvement projects in Delaware, Maryland and Washington, DC.  Assist with traffic engineering tasks ranging from traffic impact analysis (TIA), safety evaluations, signal analysis and design and the preparation of signing and pavement marking plans, MOT / construction phasing plans, transportation management plans (TMPs) and lighting plans.   Assist with traffic study reviews from third parties for new developments and projects. 

Additional Required Attributes:

OpenRoads Designer (ORD) and ProjectWise (PW) experience a plus Professional Organization participation (ITE, ASHE and/or ASCE) Bluebeam PDF editor experience a plus Developing Maintenance of Traffic schemes, Construction Phasing and Traffic Control Plans Developing project cost estimates and specifications, including Special Provisions. Experience with lighting design software

Preferred Attributes:      

Excellent communication skills – both oral and written.   Experience with preparing technical reports and memorandums.
