Purpose of Role:
We are one of the world’s leading engineering companies headquartered in Glasgow with a presence in every major mining region of the world and are currently looking to recruit a graduate to join our Group Finance team in the summer of 2025.
Your core experience will be gained through your role in Group Finance where you will have exposure to technical, reporting, treasury and governance areas. During your training contract you will have the opportunity to gain experience across a wide range of Head Office functions, for example, Tax, Treasury, Internal Audit, Financial Systems, Sustainability, Corporate Development or Investor Relations in a training programme developed to support your interests and career ambitions. There is also potential to work overseas in one of our Divisions.
You will develop your skills in a professional, supportive and inclusive work environment based at our Glasgow Head Office. The Group offers flexible working.
Applications are welcome from candidates who are studying towards, or have attained, a minimum 2.1 degree. We are offering a permanent role which includes a fully supported, three-year training contract leading to membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS), a competitive salary and benefits package together with coaching and support from our qualified accountants and our wider colleague network.

Training and development: Successfully complete a structured, three-year training programme, delivered by ICAS, leading to qualification as a Chartered accountant.Support teams: Assist different departments with their daily operations and projects, contributing to team objectives.Learning and adaptation: Develop knowledge of our internal systems, policies and processes and be able to utilise and apply these across a variety of tasks and duties.Confidently display competencies including analytical, organisational and communication skills; attention to detail; teamwork; ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviours in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
Minimum 2.1 degree.Must be permanently authorised to work in the country to which you are applying, without sponsorship.
