Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility. We currently have an opportunity for a Grain Elevator Supervisor to join our team at our St. Louis, MO Milling location. As a Grain Elevator Supervisor, you will be responsible for plants infrastructure, personnel, safety, and security.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for communicating daily activities, company policy, and safety protocols

Provide operational management support while contributing to ongoing improvements and efficiency

Supervising staff within a unionized environment

Perform routine observations on grain elevator equipment for maintenance and safety; repair and schedule replacements when necessary

Perform routine inventory measurements and monitor grain record and reports

Training and developing staff in workplace safety standards, work practices and job tasks

Ensure housekeeping and cleanliness standards and assist with operations as needed

Comply with safety/security policies and participate in safety training

Qualifications:

Over 5 years in grain elevator operations or related areas

Mechanically proficient

Excellent analytical, mechanical and problem solving skills

Leadership and management with problem solving and conflict management

Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills

Proficiency in using computers and computer programs

Shuttle experience an asset
