Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position as a Grant Accountant in the non-profit industry at our Los Angeles location. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, assisting in financial planning, and maintaining confidentiality of financial information. Responsibilities: • Handling the recording and posting of financial transactions in the general ledger system. • Assisting with the reconciliation of account balances and bank statements. • Providing support in the month-end closing processes and preparation of monthly financial statements. • Ensuring compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures. • Conducting analysis of financial transactions to guarantee their accuracy. • Collaborating with external auditors during audit periods. • Contributing to budget preparation and financial planning processes. • Identifying and resolving any accounting discrepancies. • Safeguarding the confidentiality of all financial information. • Supporting other finance projects as necessary. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years' experience in accounting or a related field • Proficiency in Abila MIP and other Accounting Software Systems • Experience with ADP - Financial Services is preferred • Knowledge of Banner Ads is advantageous • Familiarity with Bloomberg Terminal is a plus • Demonstrated ability in performing various Accounting Functions • Prior experience in Auditing is required • Understanding and experience in Budget Processes • Capability in Capital Management • Experience in managing and tracking Cash Activity Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
