Role Description:

Arcadis is seeking a Grant Analyst to join our team for a significant rail tunnel project in the New York / New Jersey area. In this role, you will oversee grant funding activities for the federally funded project. 

Role Accountabilities:

Research grant opportunities, prepare grant applications, and manage the grant award process for the federally funded tunnel project. Ensure compliance with grant requirements, regulations, and reporting obligations throughout the project lifecycle. Monitor grant budgets, expenditures, and financial performance to ensure alignment with grant guidelines and project goals. Collaborate with project managers, finance teams, and grant administrators to streamline grant processes and maximize funding utilization. Prepare accurate and timely grant reports, financial statements, and documentation for submission to funding agencies. Conduct financial analysis, grant forecasting, and risk assessment to optimize grant funding and budget management. Coordinate with auditors, grantors, and internal stakeholders to facilitate grant audits and ensure transparency and accountability in grant-related activities. Stay informed about federal grant regulations, funding trends, and compliance requirements to guide decision-making and strategy.

Required Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree is a plus. Minimum of 8 years proven experience in grant management, financial analysis, or related roles, preferably in federally funded projects.

Key Skills and Abilities: 

Strong knowledge of federal grant regulations, compliance standards, and reporting requirements. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and financial management skills. Proficiency in financial software, grant management systems, and Microsoft Excel. Effective communication, teamwork, and project management abilities.

Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
