Job Description:

Key Outputs/Responsibilities

Project implementation:

Ensure the programmatic and logistical coordination of the implementation of all project activities, including those related to the 2025 ITNs mass distribution campaign at the level of the Health District under his/her responsibility.Ensure the technical supervision of the implementation of all project activities, including those related to the 2025 ITNs mass distribution campaign at the level of the Health District under his/her responsibility.Ensure the coordination of payment of all project activities, including those related to the 2025 ITNs mass distribution campaign implemented at the level of the Health District under his/her responsibility.

Project Research, monitoring, evaluation and documentation:

Effectively document to the hierarchy all information related to successes, innovations and practices to be promoted in the implementation of all project activities, including those related to the 2025 ITNs mass distribution campaign at the level of the Health District under his/her responsibility.Produce periodic reports (monthly and quarterly reports) on the progress of the implementation of all project activities, including those related to the 2025 ITNs mass distribution campaign at the level of the Health District under his/her responsibility.Assist the Health District under his/her responsibility in the drafting of the report of the 2025 ITNs mass distribution campaign.

Partnership and networking:

Participate in coordinating the orientation of local partners on the implementation of all project activities, including those related to the 2025 ITNs mass distribution campaign at the level of the Health District under his/her responsibility.Work closely with all local project partners, including local actors of the 2025 ITNs mass distribution campaign at the level of the Health District under his/her responsibility.Ensure local partners' buy-in to World Vision International's policy, guidelines, child protection protocols and Code of Conduct.

Representation:

Represent WVIB in the coordination meetings of health development partners organized by the Health District under his/her responsibility, including those related to the 2025 ITNs mass distribution campaign.Accountability:Implement a complaint management system during the implementation of all project activities, including those related to the 2025 ITNs mass distribution campaign at the level of the Health District under his/her responsibility.Report to management any violations of World Vision International's values, policy, guidelines, child protection protocols and Code of Conduct.


Other duties:

Attend and participate in weekly chapel services and daily devotional meetingsMust be a committed Christian, able to stand above denominational diversities.Able to deploy as required in the event of an emergency responsePerform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or designee from time to time.

Qualifications:  Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience

Minimum Qualification and Experience required:

Bachelor degree in Health Sciences, Sanitation and health promotion technics or Community development.Degree in Public Health or Environmental Health preferred.A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the implementation of community-based health or Community development approaches.Having worked in an NGOs is an asset.Female candidates are encouraged

Technical Skills & Abilities:

Good communication skills in Kirundi and FrenchGood knowledge of EnglishGood ability to produce written reports in FrenchMust hold a motorcycle driving licenseGood experience in motorcycle drivingGood planning and organizational skillsMust have good interpersonal and facilitation skillsAbility to hold confidential and sensitive informationAble to work under limited supervisionAbility to maintain effective working relationships with staff and partners at all levels
