Grant-funded Administrative Assistant

Position purpose:
The position serves as the primary support for the Office of Sponsored Programs in the day-to-day preparation of grant planning, submission, management, and closeout. The position will also provide support for committee projects, grant search tools, grant and research-related campus professional development and training, and other support functions including administrative functions for the Institutional Review Board
1. Works with OSP team to build core administrative systems and processes, and provides administrative support for organizational, informational, and communications needs for IRB and OSP staff and stakeholders.
2. Answers employee questions related to grant management and grant search tools as well as IRB protocol management resources and assists managers in resolving issues
3. Assists with special projects as assigned including research-related campus professional development and training.
4. Provides day-to-day support for the Office of Sponsored Programs in the preparation of grant planning, submission, management, and closeout. Conducts targeted grant searches and supports implementation and utilization of grant search tools and resources.
5. With guidance, manages OSP and IRB websites and sharepoint sights.
