Position purpose:
As the creative producer and editor for all Collective multi-media projects, the Video/Content Coordinator for the Creative Arts Collective will create and coordinate video, digital, and written content for the network, serve as a creative lead in communications and external storytelling and will also take lead to project manage capturing all video/photography needs at live events, etc. This position will prioritize storytelling, as a key strategy of the Collective, utilizing the power and impact of strong perspective and creative narrative.
Essential Functions:
1. Create and designing content that captures and expresses the creative vision of the Collective including the directing, producer, capturing and scripting for the Collective
2. Perform and/or coordinate all tasks relating to visual storytelling, filming, editing, etc. relating to the work of the Collective
3. Create and manage a preferred list of video/production vendors
4. Speak into and collaborate on all content and storytelling initiatives working closely with the marketing and communications coordinator
5. Research trends and recent data on content reach, engaging diverse audiences and engagement methods
6. Coordinate with Belmont University Marketing and Communications team and leadership as needed
