Major Responsibilities1. Implement the project’s activities related to inclusive saving groups establishment and strengthening, marketing and value chain, with links to income generating, nutrition and WASH activities, as per the approved budgets, scope & timeline at province level
2. Ensure that all project approaches and activities, reporting tools & documentation are clearly understood and implemented; accordingly, Ensure timely and high-quality implementation of all planned activities in the province of assignment; Communicate timely to Grant Coordinator_Agronomy any changes or adjustments needed to the plan
3. Provide adequate support to the planned studies (baseline, midterm, and project evaluation surveys) and help the M&E staff in close collaboration with other external partners at provincial level
4. Guided by the project’s supervisor (Grant Coordinator –
agronomy and value chains), monitor the use of business processes to ensure implementation is aligned with WV, donor and other relevant standards
5. Participate in the regular project coordination meetings at province level
6. Provide inputs to Grant Coordinator_Agronomy in monthly reports for WV’s internal records
7. Provide inputs to Grant Coordinator_Agronomy for quarterly, annual and final project reports at provincial level
Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience A bachelor’s degree in Community Development or related social science field.Reliable experience in teaching and coordinating saving groups and community economic empowermentAt least 3 years of relevant experience working with Non-Governmental Organizations in training and coordinating inclusive saving groups and supporting achievement of community economic empowerment.Other Competencies/Attributes:Basic project management skills and good understanding of the project life cycleExperience with development project management tools such as log frames, following training curriculum and guidelines, monitoring and evaluation tools (including SAVIX tool utilization) and budgetsGood written and verbal communication skills, including report-writingGood computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and Lotus Notes (or another main email system such as Microsoft Outlook)Cross-cultural sensitivity, flexible worldview, and ability to work with a wide range of people from different backgroundsEmotional and spiritual maturity and ability to lead a team of professionalsGood understanding of World Vision and Sphere relief standardsKnowledge of and adherence to the Red Cross and NGO Code of ConductCommitment to World Vision Core Values and Mission StatementHigh level of integrity and ability to exhibit exemplary lifestyle as interpreted in specific local cultural contextFluency in French, Kirundi, and intermediate level EnglishAbility to work under stressful conditionsAgreement with World Vision’s Christian ethos and participation in devotionsWorking Environment / Conditions:Domestic Travel:Regular internal travel to project areas is required •On call: As requiredApplicant Types Accepted:
