Position Summary:
The Grants Coordinator is responsible for receiving and processing educational and charitable grants applications. The coordinator will be responsible for handling requests for US and International grants. This includes reviewing requests, contacting requestors to obtain additional information, and researching information received for accuracy. This position will also be responsible for running a bi-weekly meeting with the Grants Committee to obtain approvals. The individual must possess strong organizational as well as excellent customer service skills. This is a great opportunity for an individual who likes a challenge and fast paced environment. The individual will assist in providing both internal and external customer support and will insure timely responsiveness and resolution to all related issues.
Essential Functions:
Review all grant requests for completeness, background information, and collect collateral facts as necessary for committee to effectively review for all Educational and Charitable Grants.
Oversee all communication with requestor with regards to receipt of application, approval, accounting follow-up, and disbursement of funds.
Maintain Grants Summary Tracker of all requests, status of requests and fiscal impact for review by committee and use for annual budget through MedCompli.
Maintain ongoing communication with the Professional Affairs Directors providing updates when necessary and determining which grants are desirable to each region
Schedule all bi-weekly (twice a month) review meetings with the Globus Medical Grants Committee & Professional Affairs Directors to review and determine the outcome of each grant application
Provide meeting minutes to all grant committee members, sales directors/managers, directors of professional affairs and events/marketing
Draft and send approval and denial letters to requestors post meeting
Maintain communication with the Accounts Payable department to ensure timely payment
Develop and maintain Educational and Charitable Grant Applications submitted in MedCompli.
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures relevant to programs supported.
Support special projects as necessary as assigned by Associate Director, Professional Affairs or the Senior Vice President, Professional Affairs.
Provide MedCompli assistance when needed for potential applicants
Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies.
Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role.

Qualifications:
2 years’ experience in a business, customer relations, or project management function
Detail oriented individual capable of driving follow up of issues to completion
Strong problem solving, decision making and customer service skills required
Ability to coordinate the efforts of a divergent group of people to achieve specific goals
Excellent oral and written communication skills
High proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
