additional time as needed to accomplish work goals within deadlines. Job Summary About Research Financial Services:
Research Financial Services is a vital component of the university’s research mission, overseeing the financial reporting and compliance requirements of all externally sponsored projects, including grants and contracts. Our primary objective is to facilitate the effective management of sponsored funds in compliance with relevant guidelines, thereby supporting the continuation of innovative research.

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team and contribute to the management of a rapidly expanding research portfolio in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for accuracy and compliance, coupled with the ability to work independently and drive progress towards long-term goals. Proficiency in accounting and technical skills is essential for seamless onboarding and process optimization. A commitment to policy and procedure is vital to ensure uniformity in decision-making and actions.

This position involves detailed review of cost transfers, service center billings, and journal entries related to sponsored projects to ensure adherence to University accounting and business procedures. Additionally, the role encompasses a high volume of reconciliations of expenditures and payments, financial subaward monitoring, coordination and support of external audits and reviews of sponsored projects, and participation in special projects as needed. This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule upon completion of orientation period.
