Grants Manager
Description The Grant Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial management, billing, and budgeting functions related to a substantial grant portfolio, primarily funded by governmental entities and private sources. This role is crucial for maintaining financial oversight and ensuring strong relationships with funding sources. The Grant Manager will supervise the Financial Analysis and Billing teams. Responsibilities: + Collaborate with senior management to oversee billing, budget, audits, financial forecasting, and reporting for all grants. + Analyze and present financial information, providing recommendations to management. + Assist in setting fiscal goals and objectives that align with the client’s strategic plan. + Prepare and present weekly cash flow projections. + Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure accurate reporting of revenue and expenditures. + Work with management to ensure timely production and analysis of monthly financial statements. + Review allocation methodologies and conduct time studies as needed. + Supervise direct reports to ensure timely and accurate vouchering, budgeting, and financial analysis. + Coordinate the preparation of financial reports and related supporting documentation. + Perform other related duties as required. + Accurate and timely submission of billing, budget, audits, financial forecasts, and reports. + Clear and sufficient recommendations for financial and budget variances. + Alignment with the client’s strategic plan. + Optimal cash flow management. + Compliance with regulatory guidelines and procedures. + Accurate information shared with stakeholders. + Adherence to government funding standards and best practices. + Timely and appropriate utilization of awarded funding. + Accurate and timely external reporting. + Complete and accurate execution of related duties. Requirements Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. + Seven years of relevant experience in billing, budgeting, and financial analysis, with at least three years in a supervisory role. + Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet and word processing applications. + Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively. + This position includes supervisory responsibilities.
