Job DescriptionExciting opportunity at MSK! The Grants and Contracts unit is recruiting for a Grants Manager. This role is vital for leading the pre-award and non-financial post-award administration of research grants and contracts funded by federal, state, and private agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as the pre-award information consultant for researchers.
• Provide analysis of sponsor guidelines, develop and review budgets for all grant applications, and review agency application forms and administrative documents.
• Ensure the timely submission of proposals to sponsor agencies.
• Maintain institutional compliance with federal, state, and other applicable regulations, policies, and procedures regarding sponsored and non-sponsored research.
• Review and interpret funding opportunity announcements.
• Collaborate with team members and external stakeholders to ensure successful grant management.
Key Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a related field, ideally in a research administration environment.
Core Skills:
• Certified Research Administrator (CRA) license is preferred.
• Ability to develop and complete projects independently with minimal direction.
• Proven experience in reading and interpreting funding opportunity announcements.
• In-depth knowledge of the pre-award grant submission process is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with NIH applications, policy regulations, and web-based submission software (e.g., Huron, Cayuse) is preferred.

Pay Range: $80,300.00-$128,400.00
