Grants Manager
Description We are inviting applications for the role of Grants Manager in Cincinnati, Ohio. The selected candidate will be absorbed into a thriving team, entrusted with the financial aspects of our grant activities. The job function will involve the careful management of all pre- and post-award grant activities, meticulous monitoring of grant budgets, and ensuring compliance with both internal and external requirements. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity that could lead to something permanent. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with the Development and Program teams to create and maintain accurate grant budgets • Ensure the alignment of expenses and revenue with the allocated budgets • Conduct regular reviews with the Development and Program teams to ensure spending is in line with grant requirements and resolve any discrepancies that may arise • Prepare, process, and monitor program grant invoicing • Prepare detailed financial reports and analyses for grant compliance and informed decision-making • Participate actively in all grant audits and prepare necessary documentation • Maintain accurate records of all grant financial transactions in the general ledger, ensuring compliance with accounting standards • Regularly reconcile grant accounts • Ensure adherence to all grant terms, requirements, and applicable laws and regulations • Maintain comprehensive records of grant transactions, financial reporting, and communication with funders • Provide financial support to the Development and Program teams regarding budget and expense management • Collaborate with the Development team for the financial closure of grants, including final reporting and reconciliation of financial data for grant award documentation • Regularly update internal grant accounting, billing, and reporting processes and procedures.
