Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Grants Manager.

The Department of Population Health is seeking a Grants Manager to work collaboratively with our faculty, research teams, central institutional departments and external stakeholders on managing a diverse portfolio of research projects and providing guidance on funding strategies.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for submitting RPPRs (assist PI with completion of RPPR in eRA Commons, prepare annual budget, submit continuation record in Research Navigator, coordinate final submission with Sponsored Research Administration (SPA))Submit continuation record in Research Navigator and prepare documents for annual authorization of sponsored projectResponsible for outbound/inbound subcontract communications and management (follow up on invoicing, request and review documents for RPPR submission, liaise with Contracts ensure timely subcontract execution, provide documents to prime institution for RPPRs, request carry forward as required)Responsible for editing PI biosketches and preparing Other Support document according to NIH guidelines for RPPR, JIT submissionsPrepare prior approval request (effort reduction, foreign component requests, change in scope, carryover, etc.) documents and coordinate submission to sponsor with SPAResponsible for working with PI to prepare responses to sponsor inquiriesResponsible for new award management (review award notices, work with PI to revise budgets as needed, communicate with subcontracts, etc)Attend finance meeting with PI to review financial status of accountsDevelop and maintain productive working relationships with SPA, Research Finance, and other corporate partnersPerforms other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelors degree in Business, Health Administration or related field, with a minimum of 3 years of progressive grant management experience in an academic medical center, in government or other significant health-related non-profit; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Successful candidate must have a thorough understanding of policies and procedures to ensure that research practices are in accordance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards. Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills are essential to interact

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $81,325.15 - $113,400.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
