Grants Manager B - Contract - Philadelphia, PA
Proclinical is seeking a Grants Manager B to oversee financial management and administration of grant portfolios.
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing both pre-award and post-award activities, ensuring compliance with sponsor guidelines, and providing financial advice to principal investigators. This role involves handling complex grants, including training grants and program projects with multiple sub-contracts.
Skills & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, or Accounting, or equivalent education and experience. Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive data. Experience managing complex portfolios and university research financial systems. Proficiency in MS Office Word and Excel. Strong attention to detail, proactive work style, and excellent interpersonal, organizational, and writing skills.
The Grants Manager B's responsibilities will be:
Prepare monthly reports on sponsored projects for Principal Investigators (PIs). Conduct monthly meetings with PIs to review grant and non-grant funds, and provide quarterly forecasts. Set up new awards, including budget entry journals and subcontract processing. Collaborate with payroll coordinators for faculty and staff effort management on grants. Manage grant closeouts and XTrain responsibilities for training grants. Prepare annual sponsored programs budgets and participate in the Divisional budget process. Assist with submissions of large, complex grant mechanisms. Process biannual effort reporting. Approve high-level purchase orders and travel reimbursements. Perform other duties as assigned.
