Grants Program Coordinator
**Job Family** **:** Operational Effectiveness Consulting **Travel Required** **:** Up to 10% **Clearance Required** **:** Ability to Obtain Public Trust **What You Will Do** **:** Support a law enforcement component which provides federal leadership on, and develops national capacity related to, combating gender-based violence, holding perpetrators accountable, and strengthening services for victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. The person in this role will perform duties within the following areas: + Providing administrative, logistical, and technical support to OVW’s Performance, Assessment, Research, and Evaluation (PARE) unit + Supporting the unit at all stages of the grant cycle, especially during peer review of grant applications and documentation and follow-up actions related to current grant awards + Supporting the unit’s communication with grantees regarding grant reports, funding decisions, and other matters + Organizing and maintaining the unit’s files + Generate routine Excel reports on OVW’s grants + Proofreading and formatting documents + Making scheduling determinations and recommendations for the unit + Scheduling, coordinating, and managing logistics for virtual meetings + Preparing and/or consolidating documents such as briefing materials, responses to inquiries, etc. + Taking notes during internal and external meetings + Maintaining confidentiality about sensitive DOJ policy, programmatic, and administrative issues **What You Will Need** **:** + US Citizenship and the ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a federal Public Trust. + Bachelor's degree + TWO (2) years’ relevant experience working in federal government and/or a social services or education + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Proficiency, or commitment to quickly developing proficiency, in Microsoft products including Word, Outlook, Excel, and Teams + Demonstrated problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills + Ability to manage and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines + Ability to work independently and with others, including strong relationship-building skills **What Would Be Nice To Have** **:** + An ACTIVE and CURRENT SECRET federal security clearance or Public Trust + Experience supporting Federal grants management processes and procedures + Highly proficient in (preferred previous professional use of) Microsoft suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel) and Adobe Acrobat + Demonstrated problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills + Ability to manage and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines + Proactive planning and scheduling instinct + Extremely detail-oriented + Ability to work independently and with others, including strong relationship-building skills + Candidates with life experiences that make them familiar with how gender-based violence affects people, families, and communities The annual salary range for this position is $74,000.00-$124,000.00.
