By owning your opportunity at GDIT, you’ll become a critical part in how we successfully solve our clients’ biggest challenges.Our work is looking for a Graphic Designer to help us support the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Graphic Designer Associate you will be trusted to work with meaningful data, highlighting fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA) detected in the Medicare and Medicaid programs. In this role, a typical day will include:Converting detailed information to visually engaging graphics for team deliverables (usually in PowerPoint format)Refining visual content for reports, dashboards, presentations that aligns with team or customer requestsCollaborating with team managers and data analysts to ensure content meets and/or exceeds customer needsPerforming quality checks on created content to ensure graphics are accurate and design choice incorporates the required informationMaintaining brand consistency in all deliverables
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:Submit an infographic sample that presents a substantial amount of data or informationBachelors degree in Design, Fine Arts (or related field of study)5+ years of related experienceFamiliarity with InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and PhotoshopExcellent communication skills to understand customer requests and align with creative processBe a self-starter with a natural curiosity to understand, simplify and explain complex dataKeen eye for aesthetics and detailsLocation: RemoteResidency requirements: Candidate must have lived in the US for 3 of the past 5 years
