Your Opportunity:
Taylor DM Brands, a Taylor Corporation Company, is looking for a Graphic Design Coordinator to join the team at the Amsterdam, NY facility!
The Graphic Design Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the creation of digital images and templates using the Adobe Creative Suite and licensed software for our Promo Studio.
Your Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
This position is hybrid with a minimum of 2 days a week in the Amsterdam, NY office.
Your Responsibilities:
Creates and maintains graphic designs (e.g. art, color themes, photographs) for the organization’s productions consistent with established design standards.
Creates images using graphics software.
Assembles, organizes, and manipulates graphics, images, and text for product and organizational material.
May assist with photo editing such as retouching or cropping images.
You Must Have:
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite / Photoshop
Manipulation of digital product imagery
Creating PSD files for use in the setup of our proprietary on-demand virtual product previews in our Promo Studio environment
Tracing out products (Magic wand, lasso, pen tool)
High level of proficiency in design, typography, branding, web and multimedia software and applications
Knowledge of print production, photography, illustration
High level of verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and communications skills are needed
The ability to implement and execute process change a must
Independent worker with strong problem-solving skills required
Microsoft Office proficiency
Editing vector artwork for a large mix of product types
InDesign proficiency
Setting up files to be used in our internal ordering and previewing systems
Creating Templates
Using Lightroom/Photoshop to work with unedited photography files to correct areas of images
Open minded to creative solutions
Understanding Vertical Marketing
We Would Also Prefer:
Degree in graphic design or equivalent amount of experience preferred
3 years’ direct experience in graphics design projects
The anticipated hourly rate for this position is around $20. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employee.
