Graphic Design Intern
Origami Rehabilitation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Origami provides comprehensive rehabilitation for children, adolescents, and adults with neurological, developmental, mental health, and orthopedic conditions through their residential and outpatient programs. Time Commitment: up to 1 0 Hours Per Week Summary : Origami Rehabilitation is seeking a part-time (up to 10 hours per week) I ntern to support their Development & Communications team with various graphic design projects from concept to completion . Projects may include creating social media graphics , flyers, brochures, booklets, advertisements, event invites, e-newsletter content, and more. This position is primarily remote with a flexible work schedule. This is an unpaid internship that can be completed to receive credit for a college course curriculum.   Essential Duties : + Model professional behavior conducive to a positive working and therapeutic environment. + Proactively initiate and follow-through with tasks utilizing appropriate problem solving techniques in order to facilitate communication flow and prompt resolutions. + Assist with digital and print deliverables. + Collaborate with the Development & Communications team to execute new design initiatives. + Assist with photography needs as assigned. + Provide support for Origami’s various virtual and in-person events. + Creating graphics and short videos to share on Origami’s social media platforms. + Creating a vibrant and on brand design for the organization’s annual impact report. + Conduct ongoing market research and generate new ideas to contribute to Origami’s brand management efforts. + Assist with creation of Origami’s year in review video to be shown at the Organizations staff retreat. + Creating brochures, booklets, and flyers to highlight Origami’s various services. + Provide support to the Development & Communications team on a number of large-scale projects: + Create and distribute digital and print marketing materials. + Assist the Development & Communications team in maintaining a consistent brand across all platforms. + Create graphics and videos as needed. + Deliver projects and enhance skills using the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Premier Pro). + Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with a team in a fast-paced environment.
