The Graphic Design Intern will assist in designing and developing large-scale woodgrain and other natural images for the Digital Print Line. The intern will gain hands-on experience in digital imaging, file preparation, and print production, contributing to the team’s creative and technical projects.

Responsibilities Assist in editing and enhancing scanned images of wood boards and natural elements in Adobe Photoshop, following direction from customers and/or the Creative Director.Preflight files, identifying and correcting mistakes or flaws.Layout and impose images for print production under supervision.Help maintain and organize design files to ensure efficient workflow.Learn and assist in operating an industrial scanner, including moving objects on and off scanner beds.Gain experience with new software to help maintain and operate an Epson proofer. Qualifications Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s program in graphic design or a related field.Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop (including cloning, curves, and color correction).Understanding of color profiles and color management.Strong attention to detail and an excellent eye for color.General knowledge of the CMYK printing process.Ability to focus on repetitive and detailed tasks.Willingness to learn new programs and technical skills.Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
