Graphic Design Manager

Job Description:

As a Graphic Designer Manager specializing in packaging and POS, you will manage all functions of the internal/in-house Design Agency. This includes project management pertaining to creative; art direction of all creative assets and marketing needs; working with all cross-functional teams, ensuring creative is seamlessly executed within project timelines; works directly with approved suppliers from project development to final print; maintains and oversees budgets pertaining to art; high-level creative ability and contributions.

Your expertise will drive the creation of compelling and functional Point of Sale solutions that captivate consumers and enhance the overall brand experience.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Corrugated Display Design: Lead the design and development of corrugated displays, ensuring that designs are both visually appealing and practical. Collaborate with structural engineers, marketing teams, and vendors to create packaging that meets product specifications and brand guidelines. Market Research: Conduct periodical market tours to stay up to date with industry trends, competitor packaging/POS, and consumer preferences to ensure designs are relevant and innovative. Brand Consistency: Ensure that all graphic design maintains consistency with brand identity, messaging, and aesthetic standards. Project Management: Oversee all creative and production processes, including liaising with printers and manufacturers to ensure quality control and adherence to design specifications. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Category Management and other  teams to understand project requirements and provide design solutions that meet business needs. Mentorship and Leadership: Provide guidance and support to junior designers, offering feedback and fostering a collaborative design environment.
