The Graphic Designer, Product Development will assist in developing graphics and artwork for softlines products, working closely with the VP, Design and Senior Design Managers to create cohesive collections while introducing innovative ideas and ensuring compliance with licensed style guides. Will also prepare production-ready artwork and detailed design specifications, fostering strong relationships across teams and addressing factory queries throughout the production process.
Create and/or assist in the development of softlines art and graphics both generic and licensed Develop new and innovative product ideas and executions to elevate our product executions with the latest techniques Adhere to licensed style guides as well as build on and create new full and spot color assets and illustrations when necessary Prepare production ready artwork and detailed design spec sheets (DSS) for communication with overseas vendors Work closely with our Project Management team to answer all factories queries and execute problem-solving initiatives during productionQualifications
BFA in Graphic Design or Design; and/or 5 -7 years related experience and/or training Strong conceptual thinking skills in both 2D and 3D design; familiarity with product development is a plus Preferred experience in the apparel or toy industry and with licensed product Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, with the ability to create illustrations and designs in various styles; knowledge of Adobe InDesign is a plus Knowledge of working in Z brush, Cinema 4D as well as CLO or Browzwear Understanding of full and spot color print processes, with the capability to prepare production artwork for, textiles, and embroidery Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems is an advantage Job Snapshot Employee Type Full-Time Location Egg Harbor Township, NJ (Onsite) Job Type Design Experience 5 to 7 years Apply to this job.
