Position Overview
The Graphic Designer will work under the guidance of their manager or a senior team member, handling a variety of responsibilities, including:
+ Supporting the layout and production of both print and digital files across multiple brands, catering to different audiences and applications.
+ Updating existing designs for various materials while adhering to brand guidelines and maintaining high-quality standards.
+ Managing and balancing a workload to ensure team and personal efficiency, ensuring work quality and utilization.
+ Preparing mechanicals based on Spec Sheets.
+ Assisting Studio Brand Leads with setup checks and pre-press preparations.
+ Overseeing server structure and archiving for assigned brands.
+ Collaborating with Art Directors and Print Production teams to meet project execution and file preparation needs.
+ Participating in department meetings to ensure consistent communication, stay updated on processes, and share insights and brand updates.
+ Working closely with the Account, PM, and extended team to meet agency goals.
+ Effectively triaging emails and work requests, prioritizing urgent tasks that may impact projects or deadlines.
+ Building strong working relationships across departments, including Art, Project Management, Account, Copy, Editorial, and Medical.
+ Covering for Brand Leads when needed.

+ Familiar with internal processes, naming conventions, folder structures, and Project Management procedures.
+ Basic understanding of the printing process and the ability to create schematics for spec sheets with guidance from senior team members.
+ Ability to link work effort and hours to project budgets.
+ Committed to personal development and staying current with advertising trends and industry standards.
Preferred Qualifications
+ 2-4 years of experience in a creative production role (Print and Digital) within an agency, brand, or in-house creative/marketing studio in a fast-paced environment
+ Experience in the pharmaceutical or medical advertising industry is a plus.
+ Familiarity with the design process, including collaboration with other teams, print and digital file preparation, typography, and layout.
+ Experience with file and asset management in a shared server environment, with a strong understanding of required asset types for final deliverables.
+ Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat), and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
+ Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as job demands.
Salary Range: $58,656 - $80,000
The salary range provided is for the NYC-hybrid position, which requires occasional in-office presence, and represents what a potential hire may expect to earn in this role at BGB. For candidates in other locations, salary will be adjusted to reflect local market rates. Actual salary decisions will be influenced by several factors that we use to determine overall fit, including experience (both direct and indirect), education, training, demonstrated qualifications, and organizational need. Salary is only one component of the total rewards package offered at BGB Group.
