POSITION SUMMARY

Purpose

Take the graphics technician role on projects executed from the Air Products working within Large Cryogenic Air Separation plants, Generated Gases (smaller product based air separation plants), or other industrial gas projects as assigned.

Nature and Scope

The job holder is the graphics technician in Asia engineering team and reports directly to the graphics lead and Asia process manager. The primary accountability of the job is to bid and execute the mid cryo, LASU projects, product line and other industrial gas graphics drafting, on budget, on schedule and with high quality.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Assist process system engineers by drafting P&ID's in Smart Plant P&ID, MicroStation or AutoCAD or any other equivalent software as required. Generate and edit line list document as required Ensure consistent development of the Smart Plant Database and production of Smart Plant documents  Assist process engineers by drafting PFD's, P&IDs and other process drawings in SmartSketch or other equivalent software. Assist Mechanical Design Engineers on vessel or column design drafting by AutoCAD or Microstation tools Assist design engineers with CAD drafting and document preparation.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Previous work experience in AutoCAD/ drafting, experience in Intergraph design tools (i.e Smart Plant tools) or Microstation software is a plus College graduated in Mechanical is desirable Good reading, writing and speaking in English Able to use Microsoft office software and SSketch on PC Honesty, High enthusiasm for working, work hard and carefully Good communication skills and teamwork spirit, high responsibility and willingness to contribute
