We are simulating a short-term contract employment opportunity. This is not a real job and is being used solely for internal testing purposes.
We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Graphic Designer in Anchorage, Alaska. As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating and managing layout designs, coordinating with internal teams to complete projects, and maintaining technical knowledge in the field. This role is situated within an industry that values creativity and detail-oriented work.
Responsibilities:
• Creating and implementing design concepts according to project requirements
• Coordinating with marketing and other internal teams from the concept phase through to project completion
• Preparing rough layouts for concept approval and final copy and art layouts
• Operating and maintaining design equipment and software, troubleshooting any issues and evaluating new equipment as needed
• Collaborating with external agencies, art services, and printers to ensure timely completion of projects
• Staying updated with current design trends by attending workshops, reviewing detail-oriented publications, and participating in detail-oriented societies
• Utilizing Adobe Photoshop for various projects, creating advertisements, and enhancing brand awareness.
Requirements • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, with a proven ability to create unique designs and layouts.
• Demonstrated experience in creating effective advertisements for various platforms such as print, digital, and social media.
• Strong knowledge of brand awareness strategies, with the ability to implement them in design work.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Solid understanding of design principles, color theory, typography, and layout design.
• Exceptional creativity and innovation skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate design ideas clearly.
• Familiarity with design software and technologies, in addition to Adobe Photoshop.
• Detail-oriented with a strong eye for aesthetics and visual details.
• Ability to accept and apply feedback to improve designs. Innovation starts with people.®
