What will I be doing?
\nThe WB™ Abu Dhabi, Curio Collection by Hilton is seeking a creative Graphic Designer and Social Media Executive to join our dynamic marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging visual content and managing our social media presence across multiple platforms.
\nResponsible for the formatting and design creation of visual images and copy using computer assisted programs. Translates marketing content into a conceptual visual framework for the hotel’s offline and digital communications platforms such as website, mobile applications, social media channels, advertising, collateral, etc. using a mix of creative skills and commercial awareness. Create stimulating and appealing visual images and copy which is in keeping with the established Hilton brand standards and WB brand guidelines to be inline with IP. Assist the Marketing team in creating a tangible aspect to the services of the hotel through the creation of specific market collateral and artwork. Work in tandem with the Head of Department – Marketing to create a unified and distinct visual style of the hotel.

\n\nThink creatively and produce new ideas in creative concepts that align with brand goals and objectives.\nInterpret master concepts and develop design deliverables that are in line with the overall brand vision.\nCreate designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on a deep understanding of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts.\nWork with a wide range of media, including photography, videography, graphic design, and web design to deliver diverse creative assets.\nAdapt existing artwork to ensure the visual look and feel is consistent, maintaining brand integrity across all deliverables.\nMaster artwork adaptation for use across different campaign deliverables to support commercial priorities.\n\n\nPresent finalized design concepts in a professional manner, ensuring they are visually aligned with brand guidelines.\nCreate visually appealing and aesthetically pleasing visual images and copy that reflect the hotel’s style while adhering to brand standards and advertising guidelines.\nCreate a clear and defined perception of the hotel in the minds of both internal and external guests through visual and non-visual mediums.\nWork within agreed standards and guidelines for all brand communications to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment with business objectives.\n\n\nPhotography and image capture, including sourcing new creative concepts to enhance design work.\nHandle all internal photo shooting requests, ensuring high-quality images for various projects.\nUpdate menus and adapt designs as required to meet the business needs, ensuring ongoing relevance.\nDesign and create visual graphics for use across digital and print media, including social media, websites, e-newsletters (EDM), advertisements, promotional materials, and other marketing collateral.\n\n\nCreation of all collaterals in both English and Arabic languages to cater to diverse audiences.\n\n\nDevelop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy for The WB Abu Dhabi’s social media platforms, ensuring content aligns with the brand.\nCreate engaging social media content (including graphics, animations, videos, and written copy) that is consistent with The WB Abu Dhabi's brand voice and guidelines.\nManage social media campaigns, including the development of a social media calendar, scheduling, posting, and community management to increase engagement and drive traffic to the website.\n\n\nDevelop and maintain a marketing artwork archive for all artwork files, ensuring easy access and efficient organization.\nSet up and maintain a well-organized library for all image files, ensuring consistency and easy retrieval for future use.\n\n\nRespond to design requests and execute tasks in a timely manner, ensuring deadlines are met and work is completed in line with established workflow metrics.\nEnsure high-quality design execution within the required timeframe, maintaining a balance between creativity and efficiency.\nWHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
\n\nProven Experience:\n\nMinimum of three years of experience in graphic design and social media content creation.\nProven experience as a Graphic Designer and Social Media Content Creator, with a strong portfolio showcasing work across digital and print media.\n\nGraphic Design Expertise:\n\nProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.\nStrong knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in producing precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.\nProficiency with all prevalent MS Office and any other design software programs.\nResults-driven accountability for all graphic design efforts, which are tracked and evaluated.\nExperience in creating engaging content for social media, including graphics, videos, animations, and written copy.\nPortfolio of quality design samples, projects, campaigns, etc.\n\nPhotography & Videography:\n\nExperience with photography and videography, including product photography, lifestyle shoots, and video editing.\nFamiliarity with cameras, lighting setups, and editing software (e.g., Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).\nAbility to use a wide range of media, including photography and computer-aided design.\n\nSocial Media Expertise:\n\nStrong knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and tools (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).\nKnowledge of social media metrics and analytics tools (e.g., Meta, Google Analytics, Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or similar), with the ability to use data to improve social media strategies.\nExperience in creating content for social media that resonates with audiences and drives engagement.\nBasic knowledge of SEO principles as they relate to social media and visual content.\nKnowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques, including visual media and entertainment.\n\nCreative & Strategic Thinking:\n\nCreative thinking and the ability to produce innovative and visually appealing content.\nAbility to redefine a design brief and meet the constraints of cost, time, and branding requirements.\nStrong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively and communicate design concepts and strategies.\nAbility to use innovation to redefine a design brief and meet constraints of cost and time.\n\nTime & Project Management:\n\nStrong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.\nAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.\nWell-organized and capable of handling many projects and job functions at once.\nOrganized with excellent time management skills, ensuring tasks are completed within the given timeframe.\n\nAttention to Detail:\n\nHigh attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and consistency in design and content creation.\n\nCommunication Skills:\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to write compelling and concise copy for social media posts.\nExperience interacting with computers and using software for programming, data entry, and information processing.\nAbility to contribute ideas and design artwork to the overall creative brief.\n\nTechnical & Production Knowledge:\n\nKnowledge of production methods in graphic arts, printing, film, radio, and television.\nKeeping abreast of developments in design programs and social media trends.\n\n
