Role description:

This role is part of Arcadis’ Global Excellence Centre (GEC) and will join our 3,000+ talented individuals working in India, Romania, and Philippines, in partnership with Arcadis’ offices globally. The GEC brings key capabilities and capacity to support our clients seamlessly around the world. Role accountabilities:

 What you will work on:

Create and develop design solutions aligned to graphic design best practices. Working together with the Project Leads on signage design and environmental graphic design. Prepare drawings and documents including sign location plan, message schedule, fabrication, mounting details, material and finish specifications.  Assist with the signage and wayfinding reports and prepare client-facing presentation. Use best practices, methods, and media best suited to produce desired design results and goals. Ensure all designs follow project quality standards and are aligned to project delivery schedules.

What you will learn to do:

Solving design and planning issues using architectural and wayfinding principles and industry standards including applying traffic flow, orientation, hierarchy, messaging, typography, symbols and color. Prepare design drawings and documents including sign location plan, message schedule, mounting details, material and finish specifications. Assist with the site assessments, visitor needs assessments and visitor journey mapping exercises.
 

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Experiential Design, Interior Design and/or Industrial Design. Passion on wayfinding and signage design. An excellent sense of Graphic Design and/or Wayfinding Design with a portfolio in typography, illustration and layout. Proficient with Adobe CC Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign. Ability to read and understand architectural drawings. Experience in transit station signage and wayfinding programs will be considered an asset. Good English skills.
