Job Role: Graphic UI-UX Designer

Job Location: The role is in the Baxter R&D facility in Whitefield, Bangalore, India.

Job Profile:
Work closely with product development teams to help ideate and conceptualize new product features and enhancements to current products in Baxter’s medical device portfolio.
Provide design support for Baxter projects, with an emphasis on concept visualization, product User Interface design/development, and product labeling.

Responsibilities:
Serve as a key resource on Baxter’s Global Design team based in Bangalore, India.
Interact with other R&D teams, including New Product Development, Sustaining Engineering, Marketing and Market Research.
Collaborate with internal and external customers to determine design requirements. Brainstorm ideas and create graphics/visuals for User Interfaces and product labeling.
Take direction from others in Global Design group on priorities and assigned tasks.

Must Have The Following Skills/Qualifications:

Holding a degree in a B.S, B-Tech or B.A. program in Industrial Design, Visual Communication (Graphic) Design or other Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) related major with 2 to 4 years of proven experience (preferably in medical devices).Professional, self-motivated, highly creative and able to work with limited supervision.Ability to apply HCI principles in translating customer requirements into effective user interface designs.

Desired Skills/Qualifications:
• Software Applications: Proficiency in both Mac and PC environments preferred
• MS-Office – Experience preferred (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
• STRONG computer skills in 2D graphics/illustration software (Advanced level in Adobe Creative Suite preferred).
• Figma – Knowledge is a STRONG plus but not required
• Adobe XD – Knowledge is a plus but not required
• KeyShot, Strata 3D CX – Some knowledge is a plus but not required

•SolidEdge, NX, Solidworks or other 3D CAD software – Some knowledge is a plus but not mandatory.

Additional Skills:
• Ability to translate and produce presentation materials (PowerPoint slides, images, interactive demos, etc.) based on customer ideas and feedback.
• Sketching ability is a plus.
• Experience in/exposure to User Testing/Usability Engineering methods is a definite plus.

Work Environment:
Mondays through Fridays for 45 hours per week. There will be some flexibility in work hours depending on project requirements and support needs.

Other Requirements:
This is currently a hybrid position and may require at least 3 onsite days in our office in Bangalore, India.
