Position Summary The primary function of this position is to serve as the Graphic Designer and Social Media manager for the College of Visual and Performing Arts. This position also assists the Director of External Relations with additional projects as assigned. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Additional Required Certifications, Licensures, and Certificates Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in art, business, arts administration, hospitality, or related field, and two years’ experience in events management, or commensurate combination of experience and training to include graphic design. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps, and Adobe design programs such as Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Key Responsibility Graphic design work for the University Concert and Lecture Series. Essential Tasks Design professional CVPA advertisements, programs, posters, and other printed materials for the College and University Concert and Lecture Series in cooperation with the Director of External Relations. Meet deadlines for the management of graphic design projects. Key Responsibility Coordinate social media for the College of Visual and Performing Arts. Essential Tasks Create content highlighting events at the College and for the University Concert and Lecture Series. Create content for admission to the College (application deadlines, recruitment events, etc.). Harvesting and depositing content about the College of Visual and Performing Arts Events. Utilizing and working with College student ambassadors to increase student created content. Key Responsibility Support for the Director of External Relations and other projects as assigned. Essential Tasks Other projects as assigned (pop-up events, poster distribution, population of community calendars, staffing community engagement events, etc.). Key Responsibility Graphic design work for recruitment, Greensboro Project Space and Community Engagement materials and other items as needed. Essential Tasks Design a variety of other materials related to new faculty announcements, recruitment, and Greensboro Project Space and Community Engagement materials.
