RESPONSIBILITIESPerforms tax compliance to include the preparation and filing of Area direct and indirect taxes.Attend tax audits and respond/resolve issues with tax authorities.Pursue tax saving opportunities and conduct complex research & analysis for improvements.  Performs tax accounting to support the monthly/annual tax provision calculations and review of the relevant financial statementsManages the Area tax strategy and provides strategic tax advice to support business decisions and ongoing operations.Partner up with sites or businesses to identify and resolve local and international tax problems. Guides and prioritizes the activities of individual contributors and works independently and receives minimal guidance.Team up with other areas’ tax organization for local/international tax compliance and problem solving. 

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS / EXPERIENCEBachelor degree preferably in accounting, law, business management or economics. 15 + years of experience with Tax, and/or Corporate accounting and Reporting in public accounting and corporate finance/tax environment. Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others and is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate the practice/processes in the market.Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and ambiguity in a dynamic fast-paced environment. Ability to perform complex tax/accounting analysis and effectively communicate results in the form of discussion, memorandum or presentation to reach reasonable and efficient tax accounting and filing. Operates with latitude for action and decision-making; uses judgment to make decisions that affect own area of responsibility within the business/function.Solves technical or operational problems (with or without vague/unstructured aspects); takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.Strong IT skills - experience with SAP, OneSource Tax softwareChina or international CPA/CTA certification

On May 22, 2024, we announced a plan to separate our Electronics and Water businesses in a tax-free manner to its shareholders. On January 15, 2025, we announced that we are targeting November 1, 2025, for the completion of the intended separation of the Electronics business (the “Intended Electronics Separation”)*. We also announced that we would retain the Water business. We are committed to ensuring a smooth and successful separation process for the Future Electronics business.
