**Job Description** Join the Dairy Farmers of America Team, we are the leading milk marketing cooperative and dairy food processor in the United States. We are currently looking for a non-cdl driver to pick up coolers with milk samples in Greeley, Colorado, and deliver them to our laboratory in Salt Lake City, Utah. This position is a part-time role, working Sunday and Monday each week. The successful candidate will leave Greeley Sunday afternoon, deliver the coolers to the lab Sunday night, and then return to Greeley Monday mid-morning. Approximately 20 hours each week. **General Purpose:** Gather and transport milk samples from assigned locations to the testing laboratory, distribute supplies, and monitor coolers while in route and at assigned locations. **Duties and Responsibilities:** + Collect and transport samples from all assigned locations to the Mountain Area Salt Lake City Laboratory for testing according to the schedule + Keep lab shipping and receiving location informed of any requests or concerns brought to the couriers’ attention by locations + Record sample and cooler information on appropriate forms for delivery to laboratory + Report any situations that arise during the collection run (delay enroute, accidents or vehicle breakdown) + Secure coolers in transport vehicle, take action, when needed to maintain sample/cooler temperatures to ensure sample integrity + Maintain vehicle mileage reports and sample collection log to include arrival and departure times + Maintain assigned vehicle in good working order. Advise management of needed maintenance and mechanical problems as necessary + Sample collection route runs overnight, and overnight stay is required + Adhere to all DFA Quality, Safety and GMP policies and procedures and report any nonconformity + Exhibit the values and ethics of Dairy Farmers of America through honesty, discretion, and sound judgment + Represent DFA positively and professionally at all times during interactions with producers, customers, and regulatory personnel + The requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee; but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties and skills required.
