Description

- The Green Bean Associate is in charge of placing the fresh beans into the silos to get them ready for roasting.

- They will be spending around 80% of their time opening bags and loading the coffee into silos.

- The rest of their day will be spent using the forklift to accommodate the inventory, keeping the area clean.

- Coffee bags go from 130 lbs to 150 lbs, but they are not lifted, they are slid or not even moved, it is definitely finesse and not force.

- Candidate must be available to work overtime and weekends as required

- This is the very first step in the roasting process, so it is of vital importance that everything is done well. Ask questions first not later.

One Open position:

4pm-12:30am Monday-Friday + Sunday's working OT. Will be training for 1-2 months of training being conducted between 8a-4:30p.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

- previous forklift experience

- Must be Tech savy will be operating roasters, machine operating skills

Ability to communicate respectfully, clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.

- Ability to work effectively with a diverse team.

-Ability to uphold and follow safety, food safety, and production quality standards.

-Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately

- Prior fork lift experience of at least 6 months.

- Physical ability to comfortably lift 75 pounds.

- Ability to perform accurate data entry

- Scheduling flexibility including overtime as well as different shifts as needed in order to meet production demands.

- Accuracy, thoroughness, reliability and ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities.

- Self-directed and able to complete all tasks with minimal supervision.

- Ability to use a computer/technology friendly.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
