Qualifications / Requirements
High School diploma or GEDA minimum of 1 year of full time manufacturing experience with manual or Computer Numerical Controlled machining using milling, turning, lasering and grinding processes orAn associate’s degree or higher in a manufacturing or engineering discipline (for example, Computer Integrated Machining or Engineering Technology) including graduation from any recognized machinist or toolmaker apprenticeship or certification programMust be willing to work Weekend ShiftMust successfully complete pre-employment physical/drug screen and on-going random drug screensDesired Characteristics:
The ability to work from layouts and dimensions on drawings and read manual gaugesThe ability to load, align, and set up machine per drawing instructions and maintain quality production recordsThe ability to read blueprints and be able to read shop math and have proficient knowledge of machining methods and cutting toolsStrong computer skills are preferredMust be able to wear personal protective equipment (safety glasses, gloves, hats, and safety shoes)This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
