**Job Title:** Grocery Category Manager

The pay range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000/annually. This is a remote based position.
**Overview**
We’re looking for a highly accountable, solutions-oriented Grocery Category Manager to lead critical initiatives across our Grocery portfolio. This role requires strong ownership, quick problem-solving, and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. The ideal candidate brings solutions, not just observations, and can navigate complexity with urgency and clarity.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ **New Ingredient Development** Lead the end-to-end sourcing of new ingredients and SKUs for prepared meals & meal kits. Partner closely with Product Development, FSQA, Regulatory, Commercialization, Replenishment, and Revenue Enablement teams to launch with speed and precision.
+ **Special Projects** Drive strategic, cross-functional initiatives such as brand transitions, risk mitigation, and packaging optimization.
+ **Ingredient/Supplier Urgent Care** Quickly resolve supply issues including stockouts, stop ships, or supplier delays. Maintain supplier performance through timely action and effective engagement.
+ **Dispute Resolution** Collaborate with Quality and Legal to resolve product non-conformance, rejected loads, and receipt issues fairly and efficiently.
+ **Strategic Sourcing** Support sourcing strategies focused on cost reduction, improved payment terms, freight efficiency, lead time optimization, and contract development.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
+ 3+ years of experience in category management, sourcing, or procurement in the food, grocery, or CPG industry
+ Strong project management and collaboration skills
+ Proven experience in ingredient commercialization and supplier negotiations
+ Solid understanding of food safety, product specifications, and regulatory standards
+ Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making abilities
